New email app is personalised to your work with AI-powered organisation, drafting shortcuts, and automated scheduling
Notion, the AI-powered connected workspace, is today announcing the general availability of Notion Mail – the first inbox that organises itself, drafts emails, and schedules meetings exactly the way you want. Users can get started today by easily connecting their Gmail to Notion Mail.
Decades after its inception, email is still the backbone of how we communicate at work and the digital hub of our lives—how we login, share important documents, and start conversations. While the way we work has changed dramatically, the traditional inbox has been stuck in the past: a rigid, one-size-fits-all tool that demands endless manual maintenance. Notion Mail reimagines the inbox so that it clears the clutter and lets you focus on the work that matters.
Here’s how:
- Organises itself. Notion Mail automatically labels and sorts incoming emails based on what’s important to you – unlike rigid inboxes that set categories on your behalf.
- Personalised to your work. Split ****your inbox ****into custom views that show different focus areas. Sort your views by topic, urgency, sender, or any way you need to stay distraction-free.
- Manages busywork. Notion Mail integrates with Notion Calendar with built-in scheduling to help you end the back-and-forth, and offers drafting shortcuts like reusable snippets**.**
- Beautifully designed for speed. The Notion editor with keyboard shortcuts lets you craft beautiful emails, fast. Use Notion AI to polish your writing or draft follow-ups with context from your Notion docs.
Notion Mail is now available to everyone, for free; users can try the AI features for free, with the Notion AI add-on enabling unlimited usage. It’s currently compatible with Gmail and is available on both desktop and macOS, with iOS coming soon. At launch, Notion Mail is available in English only, with other languages including [German/French] arriving in the coming months.
