Albemarle Partners with Sony to Enhance Communication and Sustainability in Budapest Office

Albemarle, a global chemical manufacturing company which places sustainability at the heart of the business, has opted to work with Sony to make internal communication more effective whilst amplifying core values across its office space. The company transforms basic resources into assets of key importance for mobility, energy, connectivity, and health.

The Budapest branch acts as a service hub for Albemarle’s regional and global entities. To enhance their workspace, the Hungarian office has been equipped with 64 Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays from the FW-BZ50L, FW-BZ40L, and FW-BZ30L series.

These displays offer unparalleled image quality, wide viewing angles, smart features, and intelligent System on a Chip (SoC) technology. Each model was developed with sustainability in mind, incorporating recycled SORPLAS™ plastics, reduced ink consumption on packaging, and an ECO Dashboard for transparent energy consumption.

Communication is key

As a global company that operates in over 70 countries, Albemarle understands the importance of effective communication. The Hungarian office needed the right tools to share content quickly and efficiently, while also making the office space feel more reflective of the companies’ sustainable values.

The installation of the BRAVIA 4K Professional Displays across Albemarle’s meeting rooms and common areas addressed this need. Equipped with Sony’s content management software partner, 22Miles digital signage system, these monitors will allow for a more streamlined and effective workflow across the office space. Paired with sustainable features such as HDMI auto wake-up, which ensures the display is only being used, when necessary, this installation has been able to implement an office wide digital signage and display solution that does not impede on Albemarle’s sustainable values.

A final product to be proud of

Through this installation Albemarle gained an efficient system for internal communication and effective tools for on-site and digital meetings. Additionally, Sony’s strong commitment to working with content management software partners like 22Miles and many others meant Albemarle was able to have a solution that was tailored for them, leaving behind the need for compromises and instead allowing for a high degree of control and curation.

“We recommended Sony BRAVIA professional displays to our client because these devices guarantee top quality visual experience and reliability. The Sony BZ-L series met the project needs perfectly for executive conference rooms, smaller meeting rooms, as well as digital signage applications,” says Norbert Katona, Account Manager from StreamNet, the company responsible for the project’s audio-visual solutions.

“Albemarle is a significant force in the electric car market which places a great emphasise on the need to operate sustainably. We are therefore honoured that Albermarle has opted to use Sony BRAVIA professional displays in their Hungary office,” said Piotr Gajewski, B2B Sales Manager East, Sony Europe. “From the use of SORPLAS in the production of our displays, to the addition of smart features such as HDMI auto wake-up, we are constantly thinking of new ways to make our technology more sustainable and less energy intensive, and Albemarle’s selection of our products only reassures us this is worthwhile way to operate.”
