After working with Microsoft on pilot programs in schools around the world, Acer is launching its first PCs running Windows 11 SE, a cloud-first Windows operating system built for learning. Designed for use on affordable devices pre-configured for student privacy and remote management, Windows 11 SE combines the performance of Windows 11, modern management tools and an easy-to-use interface with fewer distractions and a menu of education-first apps. The first Acer devices to come preinstalled with Windows 11 SE or Windows 11 Pro Education are the 11.6-inch Acer TravelMate B3 and Acer TravelMate Spin B3 (with anti-microbial protection). These affordable laptops boast military-grade durability, protection from moderate spills, a 10-hour battery life (with battery indicator on front cover), a webcam and connectivity optimised for multi-user environments. Prices start at £210 and £259 respectively.
