You can include information on what different departments are currently working on and share company news that’s relevant to everyone. Encouraging communication and collaboration across the business can make sure everyone feels involved.
Make sure your workplace has collaborative spaces where members of your team can get together to work on projects without disturbing other colleagues or being distracted. Add digital signs and screens to these spaces, as these can be a fantastic tool to allow your employees to visualise their thoughts and ideas, or work together in a shared document in real-time.
While employee recognition is important all year round, in the middle of winter it might make an even bigger impact, giving your team a motivational boost. How you design and layout your workspace has a huge impact on your employees’ experience. Let in plenty of natural light, and add adjustable blinds so that your team can choose a comfortable level of brightness. If possible, create a break room or chill out space where employees can relax. A little touch like a dart board can make it feel homelier and give your team something fun to do during their break.
